Know Before You Go

Hello cretaceous friends! We are so incredibly thrilled to welcome you to The Great Dino Rescue! Before you join us here are a couple of things that you need to know! 
 

Before the Show

  • The Great Dino Rescue is an immersive theatrical performance. The show will start promptly at the scheduled start time and will run for approximately 55 minutes.  Doors to the lobby will open approximately 60 minutes prior to your showtime and the auditorium for seating will open 30 minutes prior to each showtime. General Admission tickets are first come, first serve and include all seats EXCEPT the front row. Please plan accordingly.

  • The show will be held inside The Kissimmee Civic Center 201 E. Dakin Avenue Kissimmee, FL 34741

  • When you arrive, park in the free lot connected to the Civic Center.

  • Guests will enter through the main glass doors in front of the civic center. Do not enter the side doors. 

  • Please note, no outside food or drink will be permitted in the facility.

  • Your tickets will be scanned upon enterance to the venue at our check-in table. Please make sure that the time and date on your ticket are correct. For health and safety, you will only be allowed to attend the show for your purchased time slot. 

  • We kindly ask that you bring your tickets with you, either on paper or using the Eventbrite app so that they can be scanned at the door for a more convenient check-in. Tickets can be located at the bottom of this email. If, for any reason, you cannot find your tickets, please provide your purchase name and email to the team members at check-in so they can retrieve your tickets. 
     

During the Show 

  • We please ask that you keep any aisles and the stage area as clear as possible during the duration of the show. We have special guests that will be moving around, so we need to make sure that there’s nothing in front of their feet!

  • We kindly ask that all members of your party use the restroom prior to the show. Due to the low lighting during the show, and for the safety of you and our team, if you need to leave your seat for any reason we ask that you please flag down a non-show team member to escort you out while our dinosaurs are performing.

  • Our show is accommodating to anyone using mobility aids, with the exception of VIP seating. Please ask one of our attendants for help if needed.

  • Strollers will not be allowed in the auditorium. We do have stroller parking available. You will be asked to move your stroller to its designated place if you mistakenly bring it inside the auditorium. 

  • If you have any little ones that you think might be scared or frightened during the performance, we suggest making sure that you get seats towards the back of the available seating. 
     

Additional Information

  • We highly recommend visiting our merchandise store, the Stego-STORE-us, for some fun, interactive items that can be used during our performance. Merchandise will be available for purchase via credit card and cash.

  • We have partnered with the Dublin VA for our Raptors With Heart program! If you make a cash donation to their organization prior to the performance, you will be entered to win a free meet and greet with our raptor hybrid, Erika after the show!

  • All of our dinosaurs are mesotherms, meaning that they have a little bit of trouble regulating their body temperatures. We have to make sure that the venue stays nice and cool for them. We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater with you to your performance.

  • Our show does consist of loud sounds and bright flashing lights so we please ask that you plan accordingly or make necessary accommodations.
     

Final Reminders

  • Doors will close and the show will begin promptly at the scheduled start time. Please make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to arrive, park, and find a seat beforehand. We do recommend getting to your showing early so that you have time to check in and get the best seats possible! 

  • Please note, that there are specific seating areas for this show. Make sure you know which seats your purchased tickets are for. If you have any questions, please contact us via email before the event or inquire with one of our team members at the event.
